Poem
Lost Worlds to Find Again
The room is dark;
The walls are stark;
The streets are dim;
Like the place I’m in.
The streets are bare;
There’s no-one there
My hope is gone;
I’m weak, not strong.
My hopes are dashed;
Two worlds have clashed,
The one I knew
I now eschew.
But now I’m here –
A world of fear;
A trembling mind
As thoughts unwind;
In a hazy daze
I spend my days.
But there is hope,
I’ll learn to cope.
I will find peace
And then release
The purest dove
To bless the love
Of those who care,
Whose lives I share.
