Poem

Christmas – a Child’s View

· Christmas, Family, Love

For the love of the magic of Christmas in a child’s imagination;
For the hope that all children may come, one day, to understand such joy.

If the wind decides to blow
When Christmas comes around,
You never know, there might be snow
Covering the ground.

Remember this, if no snow comes
When it is Christmas Night,
It matters not to little ones
Who keep their eyes shut tight.

For they will have the best time ever
With no snow on the ground,
And happiness to last forever
Where love and joy are found.

We know some families may not be
In places that are safe.
So hope and pray, join in our plea:
‘PEACE, guard them in their space.’
